Best Practices in the European Distribution System

Antwerp Port brings together the “Best in Class” of European supply chain leaders over a three day interactive programme. The programme aims to share practical aspects in managing robust global supply chains and offers insights on innovative approaches to cost and time efficiency. The programme will be delivered digitally and is best suited for decision makers in supply chain management, international business and project management professionals.


Day 1, Belgium as a European logistics hub

¨ Nathan De Valck (Brussels Airport) : Airport as a gateway for the Indian freight to Belgium.
¨ Nike : case study of Belgium as an EU distribution hub.

Day 2, Cold chain logistics
¨ Joost Vanderplaetsen and An D’Hondt (Katoen Natie) : A new concept in pharma handling and distribution.
¨ Steve Alaerts (Foodcareplus) : Essential aspects in handling of perishables.

Day 3, Multipurpose & breakbulk terminals
¨ Eric Clonen (AProjects) : Project cargo global consolidation.
¨ Ardian Lekaj (Nova Natie) : value added logistics and other aspects.


This programme is open to port and supply chain professionals from India.
