Smart port technologies

As a leading port, Port of Antwerp is striving to become smarter, better connected, and better integrated to the wider supply chain system.
Digitalization and automation brings competitive advantages to the ports.

The seminar on Smart port technologies addresses new innovative business models and concepts.

The topics will include:
– digital innovation
– port community systems & applications
– trust in data sharing (as powered by blockchain)
– cyber security
– supply chain management
– radio and radar communication
– electronic data transfer

Site visits will introduce the participanats to the the operational aspects of IT in a smart port communication, such as:
– Combinant tri-modal terminal
– Molenbergnatie (world’s leading supply chain management company for coffee and cocoa)
– Datacenter and the Vessel Traffic Service
The participants will also bring a visit to the port of Zeebruges and to the city of Bruges.

Course fee: €3.500 
The registration fee covers the inscription fee, documentation, local transport during seminar days, all meals (full board), accommodation at the Van der Valk Hotel****(14d/13n) and insurance.
International transport, transport between the airport and the hotel, extra meals and nights at the hotel are at your own expense. Extra nights at the hotel need to be arranged directly with the reservation desk of the Van der Valk Hotel: Reservations@antwerpen.valk.com

Please note that the registration fee must be received by APEC in full; meaning all national and international taxes, bank costs etc. need te be covered by the participant.
Kindly take this into account when completing the transfer, as a deficit in the amout received by APEC will mean admission to the seminar will be denied.
