Strategic development for a future-oriented port
August 17 - October 16€1400
Strategic Development for a Future-Oriented Port
Traditional port models are evolving towards proactive models where governments and port authorities have to anticipate on growing concerns and resistance from the communities. At the same time ports often have to deal with less, but bigger clients and have to provide sufficient capacity and scale of operations to their clients. This course will provide tools to turn challenges into opportunities, rather than to consider them as risks.
- Climate change & climate goals in a port environment
- SDG’s in a port’s policy, mission and vision
- Investment choices with limited resources
- Ports as incubators for innovation
- Ports as community builders
- Creating a corporate project portfolio
