Strategic Development for a Future-Oriented Port

7th February - 4th March & 14th - 18th March

Why this course?

Ports worldwide face increasing challenges: climate change, sustainable development goals, disruptive trends such as energy transition and circular economy,..The competitivity of ports is no longer only measured in economic results, but increasingly in how they act as a driver and enabler of sustainable development. At the same time, ports still have to adapt to ongoing globalization, where M&A results in fewer and bigger players who realize economies of scale through horizontal and vertical integration. This means a port has to provide suffcient capacity and scale of operations to accommodate this trend. The course gives you insights into how to turn challenges into opportunities, rather than consider them as risks.
